Description:SUMMARY OF THE FUNCTION: Advertising Coordinator is primarily responsible for assisting Associate Media Director and VP of Marketing and Advertising to execute marketing and advertising plans.
Duties:1. Assists in campaign launches involving television and internet advertising as directed by the Associate Media Director and/or VP of Marketing. 2. Works with Associate Media Director to review media schedules to ensure television campaigns are booked for 33 DMA’s as directed. 3. Works with reporting software (OLAP and Omniture) to complete media reports; runs weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports as requested. 4. Reviews media reports for local and national campaigns providing recommendations to improve campaign performance against designated KPI’s. 5. Assists in coordinating television commercial shoots as needed. 6. Works with external agencies to complete internet creative elements as needed. 7. Coordinates SEO changes with internal and external partners on a monthly basis. 8. Coordinates unsubscribe efforts on a continuous basis with the National Contact Center and email providers. 9. Responsible for logging and tracking all data issues and providing updates to involved parties.
Qualifications: EDUCATION: • College degree required – preferably in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related course of study; EXPERIENCE: • One to Two years of media buying/planning and/or direct response media experience preferred. SKILLS: • Familiarity with direct response media terminology, analysis, budget control and management. • Proficient in accounting and mathematics; able to create and manipulate spreadsheets, pivot tables; enjoys working with numbers. • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills required. • Ability to multi-task. • Attention to detail required • Strong computer skills, especially with Excel. WORKING CONDITIONS: • Work in preformed in a normal office environment. Noise level low to moderate. • Some local and overnight travel required.
